To Our Fellow Credit Union Members,

We are happy to notify you of some good news taking place at Bear Paw Credit Union! On March 3, 2017, our credit union will be converting to a new data processing system.

Over the past several years we have seen a great deal of change in the financial services industry. With advances in technology and improved banking amenities in addition to continuing changes in regulation and compliance, we find it is necessary to transfer to a new host system.

As we begin this journey, we want to share with you some of what you can expect over the next few months. Training of our staff began in October and will continue through the “Go-Live” date of March 3, 2017. This new data processing system directly affects all the products and services you currently use. It is imperative that our staff understand how the new system works and how to make the transition as smooth as possible for all members of BPCU.

Some of the most noticeable changes you will see during our computer conversion are an upgraded and more efficient online banking system and an improved bill pay product. In addition, mobile banking will also be available to our membership in 2017. 

Converting to a new computer system is a complex undertaking – one that staff and management is dedicating their time and energy to mastering. All employees participate in classroom training and simulations in computerized training environments. All management and staff will be involved in lengthy training sessions in order to provide you, our members, with the best possible outcomes when using our new electronic tools and services.

This is an exciting time at BPCU and we are truly looking forward to rolling out new technology to you, our valued member. As we get closer to our “Go-Live” date, March 3, 2017, you can expect to continue to receive updates on how we are proceeding with our conversation. Until then, if you have any questions you’d like answered, please don’t hesitate to ask any of our helpful staff the next time you visit one of our offices.
